The Los Peñasquitos Watershed Management Area (WMA) Responsible Agencies are performing an update of the Los Peñasquitos WMA Water Quality Improvement Plan (WQIP).

The WQIP update focuses on the evaluation of the WMA’s WQIP Priority Water Quality Conditions, the water quality of waterbodies listed on the Environmental Protections Agency’s 2016 303(d) Impaired Water Bodies List, and on establishing new interim numeric sediment goals for the WMA.
The Responsible Agencies are releasing the updated Los Peñasquitos WQIP document for a 30-day public review from October 13, 2021 to November 12, 2021. Please include your comments in the provided excel tracking document and submit them to Andrew Funk, at [email protected] by 5pm on November 12, 2021.
