Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program

CARLSBAD

This Carlsbad Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program (WURMP) describes the activities and requirements that the Copermittees within the Carlsbad Hydrologic Unit No. 904 (Carlsbad Watershed) are implementing to ensure compliance with the waste discharge requirements of the Municipal Stormwater Permit and reduce the impacts of urban activity on receiving water quality on a watershed basis.
 
The City of Encinitas is the lead agency and has collaborated with the City of Escondido, City of Carlsbad, City of Oceanside, City of San Marcos, City of Solana Beach, City of Vista, and the County of San Diego to develop this WURMP for the Carlsbad Watershed.
 
Public participation is encouraged throughout the year as the WURMP process is ongoing and iterative.  Comments should be submitted via email or by mail to:
